College Application Week
Click here to go to the College in Colorado web site for some important information including calendars and checklists for the month of October so you will be ready to submit your free applications during College Appreciation Week.
Colorado’s occupational/technical, two-year and four-year post-secondary schools will offer waived application fees* during the week of November 1 — November 8, 2009. Follow the links below for more information. (*Some schools are waiving application fees for economic hardship or students who qualify for free or reduced lunch only. Please read the waiver language regarding eligibility carefully.)
To help you prepare your college applications, join the Great Campus Chase. Take virtual tours for each school and look for the little Taco Bell beside different school names each day. Take that school’s virtual tour to download your coupon for a free Frutista Freeze from Taco Bell.
Win $500 for college! If you submit an application to any of the participating College Application Week schools, you are eligible for a random drawing to win $500 for college. E-mail: GoToKits@cic.state.co.us with your name, your high school, your phone number and your e-mail address, as well as the names of the colleges to which you applied. All entrants will be included in a random drawing to be held on November 15th. Are you ready to fill out your college application? Some are very detailed and will require gathering information before you do your applications. The web site has worksheets for both 2 year and 4 year institutions to make sure you have all the pieces you need. .
