There is a Talent Show Dress Rehearsal
Tuesday, March 16th, at 12:45pm in the chapel.
This rehearsal is mandatory for those who want to perform!

There will be a sign-up available starting March 9, for Talent Show
& Dress Rehearsal at the Main Table. 
What you must have for Dress Rehearsal:
* – Music or musician that will accompany you (CD’s or tapes), the title of your song, who it was written by, etc…
* – Dressed in your entire costume, from head to toe!
* – If you are playing an instrument, the piece you are playing, with the title and the composer.

The purpose of a dress rehearsal is to determine the information necessary for programs, determine what stage equipment is needed and to get a general idea of the line up. 

Have fun preparing for this event.  Please keep in mind that your audience will encompass all ages, so please keep   costumes modest and music appropriate.

The Art of Racing in the Rain ~ by Garth Stein 

If you’ve ever wondered what your dog is thinking, Stein’s third novel offers an answer. Enzo is a lab terrier mix plucked from a farm outside Seattle to ride shotgun with race car driver Denny Swift as he pursues success on the track and off. Denny meets and marries Eve, has a daughter, Zoë, and risks his savings and his life to make it on the professional racing circuit. Enzo, frustrated by his inability to speak and his lack of opposable thumbs, watches Denny’s old racing videos, coins koanlike aphorisms that apply to both driving and life, and hopes for the day when his life as a dog will be over and he can be reborn a man. When Denny hits an extended rough patch, Enzo remains his most steadfast if silent supporter. Enzo is a reliable companion and a likable enough narrator, though the string of Denny’s bad luck stories strains believability. Much like Denny, however, Stein is able to salvage some dignity from the over-the-top drama.

International Towne is a one-of-a-kind educational program offered to 5^th to 11^th grade students about global economics through fun, hands-on, experiential learning. We will be studying 33 lessons. The final activity is a trip to the International Towne facility, where the students spend the day role-playing as consumers and producers in a global marketplace of 16 countries. It’s an unforgettable experience that fosters lifelong learning!

Chapter 4: Country Preparation

Students prepare for their day in IT by holding country meetings and training for their Towne positions as Presidents, Customs Agents, Finance Ministers, and Currency Exchange Specialists. 

Chapter 5: Closing Activities
These lessons evaluate country productivity and test concepts learned through fun activities such as GLOBE Bingo and International Trivia. 

As always we will meet at Atlanta Bread (Northglenn – I-25 & 104th) on Tuesday, February 23rd at 11am.

Graduation is right around the corner!!

VALENTINE PARTY
Tuesday, Feb. 16th

FACE Valentine Party will be held at NCC.  The party will begin at 2:15pm and will end promptly at 3:45pm. 

This party is for students Pre-K to Sixth grade.                           

There will be a Valentine exchange, crafts, games and a Holiday Goodies Buffet. 
The cost is $3 for each student attending, with a $6 family maximum.
Each student needs to bring 20 Valentines signed by the student to ‘My Friend” for the exchange,
AND a plate of goodies to share.   

There will be a sign up at the Main Table.
